Singapore: SMS Guidelines

MCC: 525 ​Dial Code: 65 Mandatory registration of Alphanumeric Sender IDs has been implemented by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) since January 31st, 2023. From this date and until July 31st, 2023, all submissions with un-registered Alphanumeric Sender IDs will be flagged and overwritten with "Likely-SCAM". After July 31st, 2023, messages with un-registered Alphanumeric Sender IDs will be blocked. Kindly note that the registration of Alphanumeric Senders involves fees. Registration must be first completed directly with the regulator, SGNIC. Users can register directly via their portal. Note that users will need a Singapore Unique Entity Number (UEN) to complete the process. More information can be found here.
