Singapore Number Porting
Port your Singapore phone numbers to Telnyx. This guide covers requirements, timelines, and the porting process for local and national numbers in Singapore.

Expected Timeframes
Typical processing times from submission to FOC (Firm Order Commitment):

| DEL (Simple) | 6–7 business days |
| DID/DDI (Complex) | 8–18 business days |
Note: These are expected timeframes between carriers. Delays may occur if the losing carrier is slow to respond.
Understanding Port Types
DEL (Direct Exchange Line) — Simple Port
Select DEL for:
- Single-line PSTN services
- Standard telephone services
- Numbers without complex features
DID/DDI (Direct Inward Dialling) — Complex Port
Select DID/DDI for:
- Number ranges or blocks
- Numbers with complex services
- PABX or private system numbers
- Numbers that allow direct dialling without operator intervention
Important: If porting a number block, you must port the full range or have your current carrier disassociate the specific numbers you wish to port.

Before Completing the LOA
- Save in PDF format (non-editable)
- Fill in all designated fields correctly
- Ensure information matches your current carrier's records exactly
- Signature must be from the authorized person (company) or end-user (personal)
Changing Your FOC Date
Once a porting date has been confirmed with the losing carrier:
- Date changes require at least 72 business hours (SGT) notice before the scheduled cutover
- Contact Telnyx porting support to request a change
Porting Process
- Gather all required documents based on the account type
- Submit port request through Mission Control
- Select the correct port type (DEL or DID/DDI)
- Upload LOA and supporting documents
- Telnyx submits a request to the losing carrier
- Receive FOC confirmation with activation date
- Numbers activate on the scheduled FOC date
